PT Computrade Technology International is a company engaged in technology & cloud. PT Computrade Technology International was established in 2003 in several places in Southeast Asia, such as the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
On (29/11) UMN formalized a recruitment collaboration with PT Computrade Technology International. The signing of the MOU was attended by Ika Yanuarti, S.E., M.S.F, the Vice-Rector of Student Affairs of UMN; Marlinda Vasty Overbeek, S.Kom, M.Kom as the Dean of the Engineering & Informatics Faculty UMN; Muhammad Cahya Mulya Daulay, S.Sn., M.Ds, the Dean of the Arts & Design Faculty UMN; and there were also representatives from PT Computrade Technology International, namely Deddy Sudja, the Director of People & Operations.
In the inauguration of this collaboration, there are several visions from UMN, namely increasing the employability rate, because this is very important so that UMN can find out the quality of their graduates in the world of work, both academically and soft skills.
“For the campus itself, user or company feedback is essential. To find out the quality of graduates and whether students have enough soft skills. This feedback can be an evaluation for us both academically, curriculum, and skills possessed by students,” Ika said.
In addition, the purpose of this industrial cooperation is that UMN and PT Computrade Technology International can conduct industry-based research. All research needs from PT Computrade Technology International can be assisted by UMN so that practicals and academics can help each other through the research.
PT Computrade Technology International has been working with UMN for a long time, and this MOU was made to strengthen the relationship between companies and campuses. PT Computrade Technology International is quite happy because it is also important for them to improve the company’s quality.
“These students are very important, not just internships, separate from recruitment or building relationships. UMN graduates themselves are very compatible with us and currently, there are 8 UMN graduates in our company ranging from marketing, sales, and many more. We hope that we can work together more closely, it can be mutually beneficial, and PT Computrade Technology International can provide value to UMN,” Deddy said.
