In addition to designing, animators also design how the character moves, making the characters feel human and have feelings, conflicts, and motivations behind their actions and words. It should also be noted that the responsibilities of an animator and character design are not easy. It takes patience and perseverance to go through a time-consuming production process, like James Cameron’s Avatar film, which took 15 years to make. However, the time spent paid off from the quality of the film’s visual effects, which are highly recognized.
