The Newsroom is inspired by the media in the era of convergence, where reports are not only packaged in writing or video but is also in the form of a combination of various types of media. The Newsroom is saturated with technological devices for information and communication purposes up to media’s operational standards. Besides this, it is also a room that UMN dedicates as a place to print, online, radio and television journalists to work together in developing an interesting and accessible news easily for the public. Here, students will obtain work experience and get an understanding of field jobs of a media newsroom.
