Enlivening The UMN Building, Look at The Excitement of Hundreds of New Student Candidates at The UMN 2024 Open House

Tangerang, January 27, 2024 – Hundreds of prospective new students packed the Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) building. Through the organization of the UMN 2024 Open House, participants have the opportunity to understand UMN more deeply. The event was enlivened with various entertainment and attractive prizes.

As the new school year approaches, high school students and their parents seek the right college to continue their education. The choice of college or campus must be made carefully to support prospective new students’ learning.

Seeing this, UMN also wants to introduce itself by holding another Open House. Around 1000 participants attended this event. Participants who came were invited to get to know UMN better, starting from study programs, facilities, Student Activity Units, to job prospects in each department.

“Of course, we welcome the arrival of high school friends and parents at this event. We want to show the excellence of UMN, where we believe this campus can be the best choice for higher education courses,” said Viriyan Widjaja, the UMN 2024 Open House chief executive.

The Open House event was attended by the Rectorate, Head of Study Program, and Lecturers. Participants with questions and interest in UMN are welcome to visit the consultation table.

UMN Master Program Introduction (Doc. UMN)

On this occasion, UMN also introduced its master’s program. This program is open to participants who want to pursue better career prospects. According to Jobstreet’s Regional Training Manager, Guyub Pranan Dhono, in responding to the changes that occur, it is essential to continue education. Several alumni of UMN’s Master’s program who have achieved success also attended this event, and they provided inspiration and experience to the participants.

In addition to the undergraduate and master’s programs, UMN opened opportunities for participants who wanted to know more about the Professional Education for Architects Study Program. The discussion session held was a forum for participants to expand their knowledge on this matter. Ar. Suwardana Winata, the IAI National Education Board administrator, also attended this event and shared his story about his experience in the world of architects.

“The enthusiasm of the participants was very much felt. Participants seemed eager to follow the series of events from beginning to end. There were many jokes and entertainment during the event. We are happy to see the students and parents enjoy this event,” Viriyan added.

Doorprize Distribution (Doc. UMN)

The excitement of the event was also seen during the door prize distribution. Each participant was given one coupon, which was then drawn at the end of the event. Various attractive prizes have been prepared, such as millions of MAP vouchers to precious metals. In addition, UMN also distributed education vouchers for participants who registered themselves as UMN students. 

The General Manager of Marketing and Business Development of UMN, Arief Setyadi, stated that the UMN 2024 Open House event went well and smoothly. Many parents registered their children after learning about UMN’s advantages, especially interested in the scholarship program offered. Arief hopes that the UMN Open House event can benefit students who come to know more about the majors they are interested in, knowing the prospects and promising future career opportunities of each UMN study program, which is ICT-based to support the digital industry era.
