Sebelas Maret University (UNS) and the University of Indonesia both award Purnamaningsih a Bachelor of Management and a Masters in Marketing, respectively (UI). He lectures in marketing at Multimedia Nusantara University, covering topics such integrated marketing communications, consumer behavior, and marketing management. Additionally, he holds branding credentials from BNSP with a focus on marketing as well as a professional professor certificate from the Indonesian government. He has written and co-written papers for national and international journals as a researcher. His areas of interest in study include consumer behavior, technological adoption, and marketing communications. The Indonesian government and universities have awarded him research funds.
