Marojahan Tampubolon was born in Tapanuli Utara, North Sumatera. He graduated from the University of Sumatera Utara (USU) in 2009 and obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Then, He completed his Master’s and Ph.D. Degree from Electronic Engineering Department, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in 2014 and 2018 respectively. From July 2018 to October 2020, he worked as a Principal Engineer at Vanguard International Semiconductor Corp. in Hsinchu, Taiwan. His research interest is in power electronics, power converter, and GaN FET devices. He has published papers in Journals and conferences related to these topics. He is also a reviewer in reputable journal transactions such as IEEE Trans. Industrial Electronics and circuit and systems part II. Now, He is with Department of Electrical Engineering of Multimedia Nusantara University as a Lecturer.
