Albertus Magnus Prestianta was born in Jakarta on October 28. He is a senior lecturer in the Journalism Study Program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) with NIDN: 03281088 and Sinta ID: 6650801. During his career at UMN, Albert earned the title of best employee in 2017. Currently, Albert is pursuing his doctoral studies at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. His interest in digital literacy and inclusion has encouraged him to actively support the government in increasing community digital literacy with the Digital Literacy Activists Network (JAPELIDI).
Currently, Albert has been certified as a speaker in the field of digital literacy by the Ministry of Communication and Information for 2022–2023. Albert is also active in activities with the disability community and disaster mitigation volunteers in Lebak and Banten to build digital literacy and inclusion. Apart from that, Albert is also active in developing the field of Communication Studies through the Association of Higher Education in Communication Sciences (ASPIKOM) as the daily administrator. At the international level, Albert is part of the International Communication Association (ICA) Indonesia, has been involved in the Global Fact Check organized by the International Fact Check Network, and has received a scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation to be involved in Mobile Journalism Asia 2019-2020. In his career, Albert has served as Manager of UMN Consulting, PT Multimedia Digital Nusantara (PT MDN), had a career as a Business and Investment journalist at KONTAN, and was a senior reporter for KITa Magazine Taiwan.
