Imagine being involved in a film, starting from working on the script, building the player’s character, casting players, creating storylines, producing movies, and finding a production house, until the movie is finished. At first, you were just a spectator, and now you’re obsessed with being a director in a movie. Can you imagine how that would feel like?
But you need to know that many private and public campuses in Indonesia provide film majors. This shows that the film industry has grown rapidly, marked by the number of domestic film productions and viewers. For example, the Indonesian teen romance movie, “Dilan,” successfully attracted 6.3 million viewers. There is also the movie “Pengabdi Setan,” which managed to reap 4.2 million pairs of eyes. From this number alone, it is reflected that the film industry is starting to increase in popularity.

1. Department of Film and Animation

6. Performing Arts Major
