Recently, Multimedia Nusantara University has collaborated with campuses in various parts of the world. This time, UMN was visited by National Formosa University, a technical university in Huwei District, Yunlin County, Taiwan. The purpose of this visit is to formalize collaboration between universities by holding a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and discussing ideas for cooperation.
Various representatives of Formosa University and UMN attended the meeting. Formosa University was present: Prof. Frank Lin (Director of the International Administrative Affairs Section) and Prof. Li Wei Chen (Dean of the International Affairs Office), as well as their assistants.
From UMN were: Prof. Dr. Muliawati G. Siswanto, M.Eng.Sc. (Vice Chancellor for Relations and Cooperation), Dr. Ir. P. M. Winarno, M.Kom. (Director of Research and Community Service Institute), Dr. Eng. Niki Prastomo, S.T., M.Sc. (Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Informatics), and Boby Arinto, S.E., M.M. (Global Office Manager).
Just like UMN, Formosa University tries to encourage its students to go international and accepts international students at Formosa University. They have long-term programs with countries such as Germany, the USA, Canada, Japan, India, and Indonesia. Currently, around 30 Indonesian students study at Formosa University.

UMN Business Study Program International Accreditation
The success of the Multimedia Nusantara University Business Study Program in bagging international accreditation from foreign accreditation agencies is certainly an achievement that should be appreciated and used as a motivation for other universities to improve the quality of education provided. It is proven that three study programs under UMN’s Faculty of Business, namely the undergraduate program (Bachelor) Management, Accounting, and the Master’s program (Master) Technology Management, have been accepted to obtain FIBAA international accreditation.
Three Study Programs of Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN), namely the Management Study Program, Visual Communication Design Study Program, and Strategic Communication Study Program, have also participated in the AUN-QA assessment process, which took place on June 28 – July 2, 2021. The results have also come out with the title “adequate as expected.”
