Freta Oktarina is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Architecture at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. Starting her career as a professional after graduating from Bandung Institute of Technology, her desire to contribute further in the field of design and build led her to become an academic. She continued her study at University of Indonesia majoring in Theories and History in Architecture. She is interested in digging architecture as a method to dive into socio-cultural issues and put more attention to environmental studies.
Currently she teaches Design Theories and History in Architecture, Research Methods, and Architectural Design.
