Arya Wicaksana, S.Kom., M.Eng.Sc. (OCA, CEH, CEI)

Arya Wicaksana is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Informatics at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN), Indonesia. He earned his Master’s Degree in research-focused VLSI Engineering from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. During his tenure at UTAR, Arya successfully demonstrated the institution’s first-time success ASIC design methodology on a multi-processor system-on-chip project using 0.18μm processing technology. His primary research interests include blockchain applications and computational intelligence, with recent work focusing on blockchain-based decentralized autonomous systems.

Arya’s career is marked by both academic achievements and substantial industrial experience. He has worked as an IC Design Engineer in Malaysia and China, where he completed complex back-end design flows and achieved silicon tape-outs for advanced semiconductor projects. Additionally, he completed internships at leading organizations, gaining experience that equipped him with a well-rounded understanding of both academic and industry requirements. These experiences enhance his ability to integrate real-world insights into his research and teaching.

As an active member of professional organizations such as IEEE and ACM, Arya contributes significantly to the academic community, serving as an invited reviewer and author for numerous scientific publications. He is a certified Oracle Database Administrator (OCA) 11g and an EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), further showcasing his technological expertise.
