UMN’s Commitment to Clean Energy Policy Development

Tangerang – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) is at the forefront of supporting the government’s initiatives for clean energy and energy-efficient technology. Through strategic collaborations with key stakeholders, including the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) and the British Government via UK-PACT, UMN is actively contributing to the development of policies that foster sustainable energy solutions. These partnerships allow UMN to provide valuable technical guidance and resources that enhance energy management practices within government buildings, ensuring alignment with national sustainability goals. 

One of the university’s significant contributions is the implementation of technical guidance for energy management in government buildings across various regions, including West Java, Yogyakarta, Central Java, Banten, and DKI Jakarta. These initiatives not only promote the adoption of renewable energy but also equip energy managers and auditors with essential climate change knowledge. The Training of Trainer program exemplifies UMN’s commitment to capacity building, as it prepares professionals to implement effective energy management strategies in their respective institutions. Additionally, projects like the thermal analysis of the Ibnu Sutowo Building demonstrate the university’s innovative approach to optimizing energy efficiency in real-world settings.
