The Inauguration of UMN and UiTM collaboration (Doc. UMN)
Malaysia – On (17/09) UMN inaugurated a MoA (Memorandum of Agreement) collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Mara. This collaboration was attended by Maria Advenita Gita Elmada, S.I.Kom., M.Si., as a Communication Science Lecturer and a representative from UMN. The MoA was signed at the Universiti Teknologi Mara Campus, Selangor, Malaysia.
The signing of this MoA aims to expand the network of cooperation between international campuses and UMN. This collaboration focuses on the partnership between UiTM’s Faculty of Communication and Media and UMN’s Faculty of Communication.
“It’s great that UMN can collaborate with UiTM. This partnership aims to strengthen academic exchanges between UMN and UiTM. The collaboration will focus on increasing collaboration in the form of student and lecturer exchanges and various other expertise,” said Vita.
Vita hopes that this collaboration will enrich the knowledge and strengthen the relationship between the two institutions, especially in the field of communication.
“Apart from student exchanges, UMN and UiTM are very open to conducting joint research, academic discussions, and community service programs. The closest collaboration that can be done now is the academic staff exchange,” Vita continued.
Vita hopes the collaboration can expand and doesn’t end on the student exchange program.
“I hope the two universities can build joint projects, both in the field of research and community service, so that the impact can be felt directly by students, lecturers, and communities involved,” Vita concluded.
