The Send-Off of UMN 2024 IISMA Awardees

The send-off of 18 IISMA Awardee Students 2024 (Doc. UMN)

Tangerang – On (08/07), IISMA 2024 Onboarding was held for 18 UMN students involved in IISMA 2024. The onboarding activity includes debriefing for students who will depart.

The 2024 Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) Awardee Onboarding activity is a send-off and debriefing for students involved in the IISMA 2024 program. IISMA 2024 was participated by 18 students from different faculties. 

Vice-Rector for Relations and Cooperation Prof. Dr. Muliawati G. Siswanto, M.Eng.Sc., also attended the IISMA 2024 Onboarding, “I am very proud of UMN students who participated in IISMA. I hope that students can make international connections with this activity and have new, memorable experiences. They can also develop hard skills and soft skills.”

Dr. Ir. Andrey Andoko, M.Sc., the Vice-Rector for General Administration and Finance, conveyed several things to students who would be leaving in the future. Andrey reminded students that the use of AI is certainly not prohibited, but students need to be more critical in problem-solving and think more critically so that there will be no misuse of AI technology. 

Andrey also advised, “Students will not only learn in class but also about soft skills and human skills. You will also have the opportunity to learn about global culture. Therefore, I hope that students can maintain culture and good behavior, and I hope that with this IISMA, you can pave the way for cooperation between campuses in the future.”

The IISMA Awardee Send-Off was also attended by several representatives from each study program, namely Muhammad Cahya Mulya Daulay, S.Sn., M.Ds., Head of the Film Study Program; Fonita Theresia Yoliando, S.Ds., Head of the Visual Communication Design Study Program; Dr. Rismi Juliadi, S.T., M.Si., Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences; Cendera Rizky Anugrah Bangun, M.Si., Head of the Communication Science Study Program; Samiaji Bintang Nusantara S.T., M.A., lecturer representative from the Journalism Study Program; and Suryasari, S.Kom., M.T., lecturer representative from the Information Systems Study Program.
