Opening KSU4IRTC Free-Training Program Batch Two (dok.UMN)
Tangerang – Following the success of the first batch, which resulted in 75% of participants getting jobs immediately, KSU4IRTC is committed to opening a second batch that can be participated for free.
Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) once again collaborated with Silla University Korea and is fully supported by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). For the collaboration, they reopened the KSU4IRTC Free-Training Program with the 2nd Batch on Saturday, February 19th, 2022. The opening event was held online via Zoom.
As a form of international cooperation initiated by UMN, this program aims to help alleviate unemployment among university and diploma graduates, especially in the Banten Province and surrounding areas.
Johannes Boro, the implementation manager of this program, explained that the KSU4IRTC Free-Training Program offered 2 kinds of training: Smart Factory and Cloud-Big Data, which underlies the 4th Industrial Revolution. These trainings are said to help participants compete when entering work life.

“By supporting participants to be well equipped before entering work life, it is hoped that it will also benefit industries to hire prospective workers who are ready to contribute to the development of entering the 4th industrial revolution era,” Johannes explained.
Johannes shared that as many as 42 people currently took part in this second batch program. He hopes that the participants could follow through the whole series of this program and immediately get employed.
UMN can successfully execute this program due to the collaboration with our university partner, Silla University Korea, and the support of obtaining grant funds from KOICA.
